Pagoda House

I went to the most fabulous store the other day, Pagoda House, owned by Christopher Noto. It was amazing! I loved everything! Ethnic, masculine, modern...all very Christian Liaigre which is a look I love.

side note: dying for his latest book..I've only been able to read the French version so far!

He designs and manufactures some of his furniture in Southeast Asia and China. All of the chairs and sofas were upholstered in Jim Thompson's silks.

Most of what he carries are museum grade anitques and artifacts, that had me drooling. The prices had me having mini heart attacks! I wished I could have taken about 1000 pictures, but these photos from his website are pretty fantastic. My favorite thing I saw? He had stacks of old British crocodile trunks which I couldn't stop touching! (which sadly aren't on his website )

I love that low table practically touching the floor!

His lighting was pretty incredible too, in his showroom there were these massive drum shades, hanging low over coffee tables and sofas, at least 1.5m in diameter. A huge statement!

His interior design projects have been located in places like Miami, Milan, Muscat, Fiji, Bangkok, Singapore, Langkawi, Kuala Lumpur, Turks & Caicos, and Vietnam. What a dream job!!
