Bargain Hunter

Last week I picked up these lamps at Target, at 64.99/each they are a lot less expensive than the Restoration Hardware ones, or the $600 ones at local antique haunt, Fox Glove. I got some pretty rectangular white linen shades for them. They make our bedroom feel warm, cozy and clean! (note, I did have to take them to a lighting shop to have the mechanism for a harp to be put on, since they came with the European style screw on shade and the scale of the shades at Target were all a little off for what I was looking for)Next thing I ordered while I was on a little Tarjay binge was 11 blinds for my living/dining/master bedroom. Our house came with some nice white sunscreens and white shutters in the bedroom, but some of them aren't operating that well. And I love the warmth bamboo brings. And for the $34.99/each price tag...who can pass that up?
We won't be installing them until we have painted, I'm testing some colors out on the walls this week and weekend, hopefully in the coming weeks I'll be able to do some before and after photos!

LOVE these lamps and I just found some in black at HomeGoods. They are classic and can be moved from room to room if you get bored!
