Help Wanted!

Anyone in the Houston area interested in spending a weekend scraping white paint off of a 10 foot brick column in my kitchen? Person must enjoy listening to Fat Freddies Drop, inhaling stripper fumes, design talk, and has the ability to laugh at just about anything. Probably no takers, I don't blame you. I've spent about two hours on it already, have only finished the bottom two levels, and they still look pretty white. HELP! My expert-home-builder grandfather, "GrandTex", is coming into town this weekend, I can't wait to pick his brain on what I can do to fix this white mess! In the mean time...here is the inspiration behind stripping this paint off...

I know it seems impossible, but keep on keeping on. That brick will look amazing when you are finished with it. And you will always be proud when you look at it...recalling the hundreds of hours you spent stripping off the paint. ;)

I'd try using those metal mesh (very rough version of steel wool) thing that you fit to the end of a drill to get rid of the paint. If you have any idea what I'm talking about... Kinda like a sanding disc.
